- Non-binding estimates until a formal contract is signed
- May be adjusted based on actual site conditions, permitting requirements, or material costs

Customer Obligations

5. Payment Terms
Payment Methods
We accept payment through:
- Full payment upfront

- Installment plans with post-dated checks (PDCs)
- Bank transfers
Payment Schedule
Typical payment milestones include:
- Down payment upon contract signing (typically 30-50%)
- Progress payment upon delivery of materials
- Final payment upon project completion and testing
Late Payments
Late payments may result in suspension of services, interest charges, or legal action. We reserve the right to pursue collection of outstanding amounts.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
Product Warranties
- Solar Panels: 12-year product warranty, 25-year performance warranty (manufacturer)
- Inverters: 3-5 year warranty (manufacturer)
- Batteries: 5-7 year warranty, 16-20 year expected lifespan
Workmanship Warranty
Onsolar provides a 3-year workmanship warranty covering:
- Installation defects and errors
- Roof penetrations and waterproofing
- Electrical connections and wiring
- Mounting system integrity
Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not cover:
- Damage from natural disasters, fire, or accidents
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs

7. Maintenance and Support
Onsolar provides:
- Bi-annual maintenance visits for the first 3 years (included)
- 24/7 monitoring and support
- Emergency response within hours (for areas near our branches)
- System performance optimization
Customers are responsible for basic cleaning and visual inspections. Professional maintenance beyond the initial 3-year period is available at additional cost.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Onsolar shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service
- We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (force majeure)
- Energy production estimates are approximations and not guarantees
- Actual savings may vary based on usage, weather, and utility rates
9. Cancellation and Refunds
Customer Cancellation
- Cancellations before materials are ordered: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
- Cancellations after materials are ordered: Refund minus costs incurred (materials, permits, labor)
- Cancellations after installation begins: No refund, payment for work completed is required
Company Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse service if the customer violates these Terms, provides false information, or if site conditions make installation unsafe or impractical. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Onsolar and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
- Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
- Reverse engineer or extract source code from our website
- Create derivative works based on our content
11. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our privacy practices.
